So here it is, Darrin Horn's fifth year on the hill is coming with plenty of high expectations. Six seniors, with three of them providing plenty of scoring power.
Courtney Lee, Tyrone Brazelton and Ty Rogers all have the capabilities to score 20 points on any given night. However doubtful that they will all score at least 20 a night.
The story lines are abundant around Diddle Arena. The seniors wanting to get to the NCAA tournament. How Jermemy Evans avoids a sophomore slump. How do Lee and Brazelton share the scoring role. Can Orlando Mendez-Valdez build on they year he had last year. And how do the freshman including Mr. Basketball in Kentucky, Stephffon Pettigrew respond to the challenge at hand.
Tonight's scrimmage will be pretty diluted, not too much will be shown. Horn will bring the defense, but it will also be a back and fourth tempo. The teams know whats coming so you can't walk away knowing too much.
As for my predictions: The Toppers go 23-7 and 15-3 in the Sun Belt with losses at ULM, North Texas and FIU.
They do win the Sun Belt Tournament and advance to the NCAA Tournament. Expectations are always high at Diddle. This year this team lives up to them.

I think I buy all those predictions. Just out of curiosity, assuming Western makes it to the dance, how far do you think they make it?
