Resolution Time

I'm tired of lines, gift receipts and all the other stuff that gives you a headache in the days following Christmas. But after Christmas it means it is time to look towards the New Year, so today we'll look at some hopes I have for myself and others in 2008. Because it is going to be great.

Some Resolutions for myself: Well I noticed this morning, I am developing a bit of a gut. So I may start heading to Preston to work on my six-pack. Other than that I'm perfect. Just kidding.

Royals Manager Trey Hillman: A good start to the season. Their first six games come against the Tigers and the Yankees. However, it will take a fast start with an above .500 record after the April Showers that will bring hopes with the May Flowers.

Bo Pelini: Some recruits that actually want to stay committed to Nebraska. The staff is struggling to hold on to recruits. Hopefully they're all watching a few years down the road and regret the day they sent their regrets to Nebraska.

Kentucky Basketball: I want Tubby Smith to sit outside Rupp Arena and just laugh as the fans of the Big Blue walk into watch Billy G lose another one on his way to an NIT appearance. If that.

Kentucky Basketball Fans: To end the blame game. Folks it's not injuries. It's not personnel. It's a transition year. Hopefully next year is better for you all. But those kids need to buy into what Billy G has in store for them.

The NBA: I hope they have a Resolution to behave themselves. That league is an embarrassment to pro sports in America. I hope America's resolution is to not give a penny to the Assoc. until those hoodlum's act is cleaned up.
