I've been in Bowling Green for two weeks now and it feels good to have my feet underneath me. We had a good week at the Herald and things will only get better. I am very excited about what we're doing with multimedia in our sports coverage this fall in football.
Today brings a special Friday around here. College Football starts tomorrow.
That means Bo Pelini makes his debut as the head coach of Nebraska.
This is a very exciting time and I wish I could be in Lincoln. I am really interested to see how the Huskers do.
My prediction: 9-3 with an upset over Missouri and losses to Virginia Tech, Texas Tech and Oklahoma.
In other news, the Royals had they're best day in weeks yesterday. They didn't drop any fly balls, yell at any fans, blow any saves, have any injuries, or anything else that could go wrong.
They had a day off.
