.....sigh

I'm currently sitting in the office, I finished my basketball stuff a little earlier. I considered live-blogging from press row about what I was seeing. But then I remembered the C-J writer in Louisville who got the boot. And the boss sat down next to me. Thoughts on the overall night follow.

-Had some great ham before the game, Just wish I could have had more. Early reviews though are that they are glad Godfather's pizza is out.

-Had another great seat on press row. Right at mid-court to the right of Hal Schmidt and the Big Red Radio Network. I was told things probably wont be that good once visiting radio, and television shows up. It was good while it lasted.

-Felt bad for the Big Red Radio Network, they got knocked off the air about midway through the second half. Schmidt and PxP man Randy Lee used the call-in line at the station and were handing Schmidt's blackberry back and forth calling the action. Props to them for the resourcefulness.

-Not much of a game, the cute blonde was back behind me. Good to have something to watch all around you.

-The Toppers are posting skewed numbers and I think we will get our best idea early when they play Murray State on Nov. 17.
