Thanksgiving After-Thoughts

Well, well, well. Things have been quite busy in the world of EA lateley. We've been to Denver, going to Lincoln and looking forward to christmas.

This could get long so your patients are appreciated.

-It was good to see Bill Callahan be sent on his merry way. I feel like I never got to know Callahan. He said at the end he wasn't in it for the money. We knew Osborne was a family man, his wife was around doing things. We knew his attitude and his traits.

-I've been thinking a lot, and there isn't a clear cut coach I want to see on the east sideline of Memorial Stadium. Everyone is saying Bo Pelini, Bo Pelini. But I think Turner Gill is on his way to becoming a big time head coach in the next ten years. I know the Huskers arent in a situation to make an investment but Id be willing to give Turner Gill a chance. Turner is a Nebraska guy and at a place like that it is so important.

-What a crazy year it has been in College football. Really tough to buy this season. I think NCAA should put asterick by this season in the record books. *One messed up season. There was actually parity. But glad to see Missouri is number one, as hard it is to believe, it is a good thing.

-WKU volleyball got an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Not enough credit can be given to Travis Hudson and those girls. Hudson's road to becoming a volleyball coach has been an un-orthodox one, but a successful one. Now he can really complete his young coaching resume by winning on Friday against Wichita State.

-I hope to blog from Lincoln while I am there.
