I feel obligated in between episodes of Entourage to really stay on top of what's happening on the hardwood with Western right now. It's a great time to be a college basketball fan. Bubble talk gets bigger every day and March gets closer every day. I just came from the office where we were discussing our plans for our trip to Mobile for the Sun Belt Tournament, more on that is to come, I'm sure.
-Good win for the Tops Saturday at Middle Tennessee State, they were gutsy. Tyrone Brazelton was on the bench the last couple of minutes, and Courtney Lee didn't quite play to his potential, but nonetheless WKU did what they needed to down the stretch and in-turn got a win.
-The game against South Alabama should be a great time to be at Diddle Arena. When you think of great atmospheres at Diddle, nights like Thursday should come to mind. I heard one person say that as of Saturday there were only 500 remaining tickets. Hopefully they will be sold before Thursday and they can say it is a turn-away crowd.
-Looking ahead, the Trip to Mobile looks to be an exciting one. Great time for a little warm weather and basketball. What more can you ask for?
