Back at the "K"

I would have liked to have done this on Sunday but didn't get a chance.

Got to go out to Kauffman Stadium for the first time Saturday night. First off Crown Vision is spectacular. And even more spectacular thanks to the fact I was on three times. It is incredibly tall and incredibly bright. It really is spectacular.

With the exception of the fact that you better exit the stadium on the side you parked because if you don't you can't get to your lot, the renovations were pretty well unnoticeable. Sure the mounds of dirt are out there beyond the outfield but once the game gets started you really don't notice things.

The weather was miserable that night, Head Groundskeeper Trevor Vance stayed busy all night long and by the time the game ended not many were there braving the wind and rain. Mostly the Rain.

I have included two pictures. One of the stadium. The other is of everyone's favorite first base coach, Rusty Kuntz.
